Sims Insurance Services was founded January 1, 2006 by D J Sims, CIC, CRM after having co-owned another agency for the previous 18 years. DJ has a wealth of experience having started his career as an independent insurance adjuster handling both property and casualty claims. He has been an insurance agent for the past 30 years. DJ is also a national faculty member of The National Alliance and continues teaching other agents in Kansas and surrounding states on property, casualty, workers compensation, auto, inland marine and umbrella coverage.

Sims Insurance is recognized around the state as one of the most reputable and ethical agencies with specialized knowledge in the fields of health care, adult congregate living, churches and schools. The staff is also well qualified to educate and assist with the everyday general insurance risks everyone faces. They pride themselves on their friendliness and willingness to give each customer as much time as is needed to make them comfortable and satisfied.
